WellsFargoWorks.com features videos, articles, and research reports, as well as three specialized resource centers: the Business Plan Center, the Business Credit Center, and the Marketing Center. Let’s start the site tour by reviewing the main page navigation.
Content on WellsFargoWorks.com is organized into five primary areas: Planning, Marketing, Management, Credit, and Insights. Each primary section houses additional categories to help users refine their search.
For instance, within “Planning,” viewers will find helpful resources regarding: Writing a Business Plan, Starting a Business, Business Lifecycle, Leadership, and Retirement and Transition Plans.
A subset of the site is available in Spanish by clicking the “Español” link in the upper right-hand corner.
Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s take a look at the resource centers.
We’ll start with the Business Plan Center. The center’s tools and content are designed to help business owners build a strategic roadmap for their business.
Get your customers started on achieving their short- and long-term goals by showing them the Business Plan Tool and Competitive Intelligence Tool.
The Business Plan Tool allows owners to create their plan, or enhance the one they already have, by following the clear, step-by-step process. Detailed instructions and examples are provided to simplify the experience. Users can access this tool online and update their business plan as often as needed.
And the Competitive Intelligence Tool helps business owners make smarter decisions through data in three key areas: Mapping the competition, advertising, and benchmarking, which allows business owners to compare their business against their competitors on a number of key metrics, such as sales and number of employees. The next resource is the Business Credit Center. The content in this center is structured to help business owners navigate through all phases of the credit application process.
Two popular tools in this center are the Business Credit Finder tool, which can help business owners quickly and easily identify appropriate financing options and the Business Credit Quiz, which is a good starting point for assessing overall business credit knowledge. Most business owners understand that marketing is key to driving business growth.
The Marketing Center includes valuable tools designed to help business owners stay competitive, increase their visibility, generate sales, and measure their progress.
If your customer isn’t sure where to start, direct them to the Marketing Center Assessment Tool to help them navigate through their options, and the many tools available on this site.
